water-day

Today, January 22, we learned a lot about water! We could not believe that Mr. Johnny and his Reception class actually made and played a musical instrument using glass bottles filled with different levels of water. And Ms. Mary and her Nursery children taught us that coloured water goes up the stems of white flowers and colours them the same colour as the water! Mr. Anthony’s Year 1/2 class was astounded to learn that humans are made up of three-quarters water. They showed the rest of us a four-cup jar in which one quarter was solid and the other three quarters was water. That’s us! Unbelievable! We began to understand how important water is to us humans and how we must NEVER throw garbage into water. Without water, we cannot live!

It’s Winter!We LOVE Valentine’s Day!
